Hey. Did anyone import the FS recommended settings for Windows XP? I haven't, but there are certain things that my computer doesn't do as well as it could. I am wondering if these settings would make JAWS behave better in less predictable places, ie Web-based AIM etc. These things typically work on other computers I have used, running older versions of Windows and JAWS. Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks.

Yes, I use the FS recommended settings, and it makes my computer a bit more responsive. Basically what you are doing is eliminating all the visual crap that appears in a default Windows XP installation. It will convert your user interface from the new XP interface back to the old Windows 9X / ME / 2000-style interface. It makes a few things like windows explorer and other programs easier for me to use.
